Her Journey

Debra's passion is to show both children and adults how to love God with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength, and that ordinary people, with the right motivation, can do extraordinary things.

​Her journey for dance started at 30 years old when she received a word from the Lord that dancing would be what she would do. Debra then began to pursue the training that she would need to equip herself and later use to help train others in the art of dance.  Debra has served as director of dance ministry for a number of churches in the Central Ohio area for over 25 years.

​In 2001, Debra founded the multicultural, multi-generational  FOOTSTEPS DANCE CO. which incorporates dance with drama to deliver a powerful, life changing message of hope.

Many of her dancers have progressed to be leaders in the community and abroad.

TRAINING

To equip herself  in the art of dance, Debra has taken multiple classes at Ballet Met (Columbus Ohio) and Columbus Dance Theatre.
